Anzal's Flatweave x Zanafi x Hand-Knot Pillow

This pillow was designed and woven by the artisans of Anzal who have an association of women only weavers.

Woven with 100% live sheep’s wool, the colors were created with natural vegetables and spice blends - ingredients like henna, pomegranate skin, saffron, indigo and mint to name a few. 

The combination of the Zanafi x Flatweave x Hand-Knot weaving technique is a living testament to the powerful history of this village. In Anzal the weaving tradition is nurtured by the woman passing the skills down from generation to generation.

Each pillow is one-of-a-kind. They're all inspired by, or made from, a textile that was woven in the village.
